OMP Speed / Grand Prix
The new Speed helmet by OMP is designed for use in closed-cockpit cars. The sun visor gives the feel of an open-face helmet with the chin protection of a full-face helmet. The vented chin bar has a small port to accommodate a drink bottle hose. This helmet can be converted to a full-face helmet by the addition of a face shield (Part No. OMP-SC039 through OMP-SC043; requires addition of OMP-SC044 Pivot Kit), sold separately. Include FIA HANS attachment clips. Homologated to FIA 8858-2002 standard; Snell SA2010 approved. Available in sizes X-Small through XXLarge. White only.
The OMP Gran Prix racing helmet is a new full face Snell 2010 helmet, featuring a composite shell with 2 chin vents to prevent fogging of the visor, 3 revolving front upper air intakes, 3 rear vent holes; light grey inner lining made of fire retardant Nomex® fabric; removable cheek paddings (a looser or tighter measure can be purchased separately). Include FIA HANS attachment clips.
